Ayrton Senna, The Formula 1 Legend
At exactly fifteen years before this post is being posted on my blog, 1988, 1990 and 1991 world champion Ayrton Senna dies after a fatal crash at Tamburello corner at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix at Imola. Yes, the full time is May 1, 1994 at 2:17 p.m. Central European Time.
Ayrton Senna dead changes Formula 1 forever. The future of Formula 1 is rewritten because of the death of Ayrton Senna. Although statistics suggest that Michael Shumacher as the greatest formula 1 legend with 7 world champions, I think that Ayrton Senna is the greatest Formula 1 legend as Michael Shumacher "greatness" only came after Senna's death.
